Who is Fenwick & the Futures?
I am just a simple man trying to make my way in the Universe. :)
I am a stay-at-home dad with an incredibly supportive spouse (Sarah, keys/vocals), and an immensely talented brother (Sam, drums).
Life for me is a mission of self-discovery.
Music is the fuel…

So like… why though?
As a full-time television composer/songwriter over the last decade, I have created SO much music that it can be kind of daunting for someone just discovering my stuff or even someone who has been following me for a while to really know where to start listening..
Creating a choose-your-own path method not only allows me to guide you in the right direction based on your own choices, but also hopefully makes it a little more entertaining and thought-provoking along the way. :)
These songs really mean a lot to me so if you've connected with any of our stuff so far, I'd love to share more of the guts and meanings behind them as well as allow you to create your own.

Rather than just posting our music on digital platforms like everyone else, we created this interactive music experience just for you:
First, you’ll start your journey with an immediate direct download of our latest 6-song EP called “Mind Cycles” PLUS a free download of our FIRST full-length 13-song album “Doubt to Belief”.
THEN explore a 5-day choose-your-own-path story & listening experience all sent directly via email over the course of 5 days
Within your adventure you will get to decide your FUTURE as your interactive experience will offer you choices in each part of the progressively-sent story (Example: Will you go left or right?), then depending on your choices you will get to experience 15 years worth of our song releases, song lore + other bonuses while the story and music will unfold in different ways
At the end of your 5-day adventure, decipher a hidden code within your progressively chosen story in order to unlock an additional hidden unreleased song, never heard by the public

Q: I’ve never downloaded or stored music on my phone before. Will it work?
A: Absolutely! Every phone and device is different, but we guarantee that the song downloads can be stored and easily downloaded on any phone or email-receiving device for easy access, storage, and listening.
Once downloaded, they’re yours to keep forever and won’t require internet to listen to. If you are unsure how to do it, just respond to us via email, and we will walk you through step by step how to do it all on your specific device. :)
Q: Can I take both the Shadow Path & the Light Path?
A: Yes! Just not at the same time... After you finish your first chosen path, the story at the end will allow you to start the opposite path in order to experience more song lore + bonus content, and to find out the other side of the story!
Q: What’s the difference between the Shadow Path & the Light Path?
A: Primarily the music content discovered on the Shadow Path has darker tones both instrumentally and lyrically. The stories also have opposite takes. :)
Note: The Mind Cycles EP $5 download is the same on either path so no need to purchase it on both paths, BUT the songs discovered throughout the choose-your-own path portion of the experience encompasses varying song releases from throughout my entire 15 year songwriting career.
Q: How is everything delivered to me?
A: First your song download links are sent to you all in one single email.
Next your Shadow or Light choose-your-own path story will be delivered in 5 separate emails over the course of a week. Each email will click out to our website where each Part of your choose-your-own path story and music content can be explored.
Q: How much does this all cost?
A: The Shadow & Light experience is completely FREE. Just choose your path and enter your email on the next page. From there we’ll begin sending you everything.
If you want to keep, download, and store all the songs from your adventure onto your device outside of the Shadow/Light experience, we ask for less than what iTunes and Amazon charge for downloads. We can do this because we’re not letting them feed off us anymore since leaving their platforms. :)
For instance, we’ve set the pay-what-you-want field for our newest 6-song Mind Cycles EP at just $4.99. Older releases are also available to download at checkout for less than what digital retailers used to sell them.
As a completely self-funded indie band with no big record label to back us up, getting to create music for listeners like YOU is all we need to keep us going.
